Most people don't realize that a 3rd building collapsed on September 11, 2012. It was World Trade Center building #7, and it collapsed at 5:00 pm. Listen to newsman Dan Rather comment as the building goes down.

And now watch this video of the same event from a different angle. Note that the firemen do not seem surprised. That is because they were instructed, from the start of the day, to clear building 7 and clear the area around building 7. There are eye-witness accounts of the firemen telling people to move away, saying "The building is going to come down".

While the collapse of WTC7 was aired on TV that evening, any word about it was apparently blacked out from the next day on, as no news companies mentioned it ever again. Months later, alternate explanations began to be posted on the internet: explanations other than controlled demolition. These said that the two small office fires that were allowed to burn all that afternoon (as the firemen were told not to go in and extinguish them) were the cause of a structural weakening that eventually led to the building's collapse.
This is not a reasonable explanation, as no steel high-rise building has ever collapsed due to fire, even in cases of raging infernos. The collapse looks exactly like a demolition job, and that is precisely what it was. The building came down at free-fall speed, taking only 6 seconds to be converted into a pile of rubble down in the basement area of the building.

With respect to 9/11, emotional reactions are especially evident whenever the subject comes up. I am convinced that 9/11 was planned and carried out by high ranking people inside the U.S. Although this may strike you as craziness, I am able to present abundant evidence in support of this claim. In a September 2002 PBS documentary called 'America Rebuilds,' building owner Silverstein states, in reference to World Trade Center Building 7,
“I remember getting a call from the Fire Department commander, telling me they were not sure they were gonna be able to contain the fire, and I said, you know, "We've had such terrible loss of life, maybe the smartest thing to do is just pull it." And they made that decision to pull and we watched the building collapse.“
Silverstein later clarified that the "it" that was to be pulled was the crew of firefighters still in the damaged building. Others still insisted that by "pull it" Silverstein meant to trigger the controlled demolition pre-set by authorities. Otherwise, why did the building collapse so soon after his decision? It is common knowledge that building demolition crews say "pull it" when the time has come to set off the demolition.

It should also be pointed out that fire departments are never in charge of demolition jobs. So, to suggest that the Fire Department commander made a decision to demolish the building cannot be correct. Besides, it is not possible to make a snap decision to demolish a building. The charges and wiring need to be placed, this being such a large building, the job would have been enormous.
You may wonder why Mr. Silverstein came out with such a statement. My guess is that he felt very uncomfortable, knowing that thousands of New York City firefighters and residents understood that building 7 was a demolition job. Mr. Silverstein must have felt the need to try to cover it up with some kind of explanation and pass the buck over to the fire department. However, instead of covering it, he practically admits that it was a demolition job, and of course such a thing is not going to happen w/o the building owner’s knowledge.

It is important to note that the "911 Commission Report", which came out July 22, 2004 and was presented as "a full and accurate accounting of all the events of that day" never mentions the collapse of WTC7.

Is it reasonable to question whether the collapses of WTC buildings 1 and 2 might have been demolition jobs as well?
Yes indeed. There are four important points to be made.
On 9/11, the Deutsche Bank building was badly damaged by debris from the falling towers. It could not be repaired and stood empty until its demolition just recently. In 2005 the US Geological Survey (USGS) analyzed the layers of dust still lying on the roof and inside the building. They found that the dust contained tiny spheres of iron – or to be more precise, mostly iron.
The 2005 report by the USGS included photographs showing particles with striking spherical symmetry, ranging in diameter from under 100 microns up to about 1.5 millimeters. The composition of these spheres was iron, aluminum, sulfur, and oxygen, plus traces of barium.
The iron spheres are important because their presence implies that iron had melted. Iron does not melt until temperatures of 2800F degrees and the NIST (National Institute of Science and Technology) estimated that fires in the building that day would have reached temperatures of 800F degrees at most. Their spherical shape and small size suggests that molten metal was flung out into the air with some force and then cooled and hardened in the air. Also, an analysis of the composition of these spheres revealed elements that are consistent with the use of thermite – a compound that burns at high temperatures and is used in building demolition work to sever steel columns. The condemned Deutsche Bank building also holds another clue in its dust – this one rather grizzly. Workers sifting through the dust reportedly found hundreds of tiny bone fragments. This was reported in the New York Times, The Economist, and others. (It is possible to read about this yourself. Just google it.)
It is reasonable to ask why the twin towers, if they pancaked down as most people believe, would have exploded the poor victims’ bodies and thrown the bits horizontally out the sides with the dust. Should they not have been squished and sandwiched in the rubble?
It also brings to mind the fact that workers sorting through the rubble reportedly never found a body or even part of a body. For that matter, they never found anything whole – no desks, no computers, no keyboards – just 3 of the “black boxes” from the aircraft (each aircraft would have been carrying 2 so that would have been a total of 4 boxes) and these were immediately confiscated by the FBI. By the way, the two firefighters who found these originally decided to write a book about this, but now they have decided to keep quiet.
I am also reminded of how thoroughly the concrete was pulverized and how neatly all the steel girders and columns were apparently separated – all the way to the ground.
There is something else. The dust coming from the towers and sampled at various places on the ground on the day of 9/11 and during the following few days contained distinctive red/gray chips. An independent group of scientists studied the particles and found them to contain unreacted thermitic material and plastic encasement material consistent with what is typically used in demolition charges. Not only did they find that this was unreacted thermite, they found that it was “super thermite” – a nano-particulate form of thermite that is actually very explosive. Read more here:

Next I’d like to call your attention to a popular photo of the debris site. In this photo of a fireman standing amid the debris, notice the severed column behind him – cut at 45 degree angle.

In this photo, the column directly above the fireman's helmet shows evidence of being cut with thermite. There is a substantial amount of hardened molten iron which can be seen on both the inside and outside of the box column. This is precisely what one would expect to find on a column which had been cut with thermite.
Experts who have viewed this photograph say that this column was not cut with a torch.

Why was this column cut at a 45% angle? Simple. In demolition prep work, rope-like forms of thermite are attached to the INTERIOR columns of the building, and in the overall sequence of events, these charges are set off first. The result is the removal of all interior support. Now that the building is standing by the strength of the exterior columns alone, the exterior columns -- which have also been wrapped with thermite "ropes", are "cut" in rings from the top floor of the building on down, floor by floor. That way, the buildings walls fall inward, causing minimal damage to surrounding structures. Hence the commonly heard term "implosion".
A good number of eyewitnesses say they either felt the ground shake or heard a deep thundering sound just seconds prior to the collapse of each of the tall towers. Witnesses nearer to the buildings indicated (see the link below) that there was an enormous explosion in the basement area of one or both of the towers just seconds prior to their collapse.
This was corroborated by the seismic station at nearby Palisades which picked up two events – one at 2.1 on the Richter scale and the other at 2.3. The timing of these events corresponds to the start of collapse of each of the towers – minus 9.5 seconds in each case.
After doing some research into demolitions, I found, as mentioned before, that charges are usually placed at several strategic places in order to bring a building down. The first set of charges that they set off is usually in the basement area, to sever the interior columns at the base. This is done to remove interior support and cause the building to begin to sag in the middle. That way, when other charges go off (typically in a rapid sequence from the top of the building to the bottom), the building collapses inward on itself and does minimal damage to surrounding structures. This is often referred to as “imploding” the building.
The explosion in the basement area of the south tower (the 2nd one to go) was caught on video tape -- both in terms of video and audio. The video evidence of the explosion comes in the form of a large, white dust cloud that rises from the base of the building. From one angle this dust cloud rises six stories above street level before the start of the building’s collapse. From another angle (viewing the other side of the building) the dust cloud rises much higher.

Molten steel in the rubble
One more thing that suggests the use of Thermite is the large number of hot spots found in the debris as it was being cleared – especially puddles of molten steel in the basements. These incredibly hot areas were found "at the bottoms of the elevator shafts of the main towers, down seven [basement] levels," said Mark Loizeaux, president of Controlled Demolition, Inc., who consulted for clearing the cite. The molten steel was found "three, four, and five weeks later, when the rubble was being removed," Loizeaux said. He said molten steel was also found at 7 WTC, which collapsed mysteriously in the late afternoon. It seems evident to me that the hot building materials from where the fires were cannot account for these puddles of molten steel in the basement. See this short video:
